Re: 1325-1341 Boylston St (Fenway Triangle/Former Goodyear Tire)

What is the white stuff they've been spraying on the big piles of soil that they're moving around? Is it some kind of stabilizer? I've never noticed this before at construction sites.

Pretty sure that's the chemical they've been spraying to alleviate the rancid egg smell/gas that has been exposed as they continue excavation.

Thanks. I was standing precariously on fire hydrant, hanging over the top of the fence, trying to get a clear shot.

This block / area has changed so much since I lived up there. Heck, we were psyched when the Landmark Center opened up.

No.

Those are Joslin place cranes, I think. There are no cranes set for this development yet.

That looks nice and clean and lively rather than a block wide pile of dog shit.

Re: 1325-1341 Boylston St (Fenway Triangle/Former Goodyear Tire)

Not sure if this has already been posted, but do we know what retail tenants will setting up shop in this?

Re: 1325-1341 Boylston St (Fenway Triangle/Former Goodyear Tire)

No it wasn't palindrome!! There was only one from further away and not at eye-level. Thank you!!

I'm glad the curves survived the VE process! Boston needs more curves!

Target is confirmed but I think that's all that has been announced so far.

Re: 1325-1341 Boylston St (Fenway Triangle/Former Goodyear Tire)

I wonder at what stage of the negotiations that faux-Target logo was inserted into the render...

Re: 1325-1341 Boylston St (Fenway Triangle/Former Goodyear Tire)

Huh. That is some generic niche marketing on Target's part.

Making the circle recognizable as Nike's or McDonald's logos was one of the number 1 goals of Bob Ulricha and Robyn Waters so the name almost became irrelevant. Pretty smart.
