Condo + Retail Project | 124-126 Salem Street | North End

This is one of the worst things I've seen in Boston in the last few years.

I agree its not the most visually appealing I've ever seen but it does seem contextual with the rest of the block which I can appreciate.

First time seeing this. It's really messy looking, and I'm not talking about just the grilles. Just very disjointed.

It looks REALLY dated for a new construction.

I actually love the brick that bookends the disaster in the middle.

Wait... North Korea has a consulate in Boston?

this is ranks as like #5794 on our list of offensive things.

a massive 70' high (lit up) ring of this awesome stuff needs to circle the outer expanse of One Boston Place.

maybe fill the ring with vines for daytime viewing.

In 30 years when the condo board wants to replace the grillwork the neighborhood will shriek the replacement has to be an exact duplicate as by then it will have become a beloved landmark.

This building does look dated and disjointed, but at least it's interesting, has similar proportions to its neighbors, and will only be noticed by people walking down that particular stretch of Salem Street.
