Four Seasons Tower @ CSC | 1 Dalton Street | Back Bay

The views are lovely... my entire takeaway from those photo's though was that The Pru desperately needs a facade cleaning.

My take from those photos is Cambridge being so absurdly and unnecessarily squat. There should be a cluster, like a baker's dozen 450~500' towers and another half dozen 625'~800' crown jewels close to the Green, Orange and Redlines..... That wouldn't be at all unreasonable for current economics and scale of the Metro. :biggulp:

While everyone was napping, the US population cranked up by 100,000,000. No reason we can't participate in the US population trend.

Coming out the CAT on the deck next to 1 Greenway Back Bay is INSANE.

It's one of the hardest shots to get in Boston.

Maybe get in back of a State Police cruiser and have the guy/gal pull over.

Do we have any idea how tall the antenna will be on this, or is it more of a wait and see kind of deal? I hope its about equal to the Pru to create a nice twin effect.

there's no way or reason it will be. the pru's is a master broadcast antenna -- like the super-tall ones out in needham -- and, as such, is by necessity both very tall and very specific in design/aesthetic. whatever antenna 1 dalton has won't be anything like it.

Wow great shots!!

i was thinking nightshot. :)

after the crane is gone, i wish the antenna will lite up in different light-sabre colors.
