Four Seasons Tower @ CSC | 1 Dalton Street | Back Bay

Back Bay spine and 1 Dalton as seen from the southeast expressway, I-93, driving north towards Boston. The first is taken just beyond the Braintree split. The second & third are near the gas tank. The last near the old Globe building. Not sure I’ve seen these vantage points on this thread.

when it first topped off late last summer or fall or whenever it was, this was the viewpoint which had me convinced it was a little taller than the pru, as certain FAA filings suggested.
 
Clear day; check
Summer foliage; check.

i realize i shouldn't care as much (or at all, really), but those remaining plywood panels infuriate me. for a tower -- a four seasons, no less -- that "opened" five months ago to still be in such a state...
 
Beeline that's a unique angle on the back of Lightview, mind me asking where it was taken from? Not it's most flattering angle really but I'm curious...

As for the plywood I really don't understand but looking at my photo collection the top two balconies have gotten their plywood taken down in the last two weeks so that's... A start... And I've definitely seen guys working on that side of the building in the window cleaner rig this week around the plywood areas... Sounds like from the articles I read they had other bigger problems to deal with first
 
All would be forgiven if they gave me that lit-up Four Seasons tree logo at the top! :p

The first photo was from Harrison, next to the fire station.
The second photo was from 2 blocks west of Dudley Sq.
The thrid photo was from Roxbury Crossing east of the Eastern Bank.

You and me both! I did see an article somewhere blaming delays on elevator inspections but I am not sure if that is the cause of the embarrassing plywood remains.
 
There is no way that it's due to elevator inspections. They couldn't open without a fully signed off elevator. Plus, the core is in the middle of the building.
 
perhaps the prolonged plywood "windows" are cobb's tribute to his previous glass skyscraper in boston
