http://www.bostonresidentialgroup.com/I can't think of anyone who would view this as a step forward.
Who developed and approved this?

Stretching from Boston to Brookline, the Emerald Necklace park system is a sanctuary of 100-year old oak trees, waterways, and shaded paths vigilantly watched over by conservancy organizations. Nestled into this urban wild, Olmsted Place is a study in sensitive massing and material use. Divided into two separate 4 and 5-story residential buildings, the project utilizes brick, metal, as well as varying roof heights and setbacks, to respectfully site a contemporary structure into the community. The soothing, minimalist interiors draw inspiration from the work of famed landscape architect, and project namesake, Frederick Olmsted. With superlative amenities, including a park-side outdoor pool and deck, Olmsted Place is scheduled for spring 2015 occupancy and will pursue LEED Silver certification.
Client: Boston Residential Group, LLC
Density: 56 units per acre
196 apartments
170-car garage
Full amenities package including outdoor pool
Do you think they kept a straight face while writing this?
