02124 Those are keepers! Thanks for sharing.

Couple questions... which bridge is that and why is there that random median along Causway St?

The "median" is a short completed section of a center cycle track for the Connect Historic Boston Bike Trail.

The "random medians" on Causeway Street are a center running bi-directional cycle track. It's part of the Connect Historic Boston Project that will provide separated bike lanes from Cambridge St, down Staniford, to Causeway, down Beverly, under the North Washington Street Bridge and back to Commercial St, onto Atlantic and ending at the Greenway at Chris Columbus Park. Both on-street sections should be complete next year - a portion of the Causeway St section is being used as contractor parking/staging for the Boston Garden Project and there are problems with a large electrical duct bank and light post locations on Causeway.

Also included in the project are a redoing of the Blackstone Block in Haymarket, Joy Street on Beacon Hill, and Constitution Road in Charlestown.

Beaten to it be two others. Need to learn to type faster.

Wow. the first photo looks like churning industrial smokestacks and a smoke filled sky. Nice!

Not mine, to be clear - 'borrowed' it from the facebook page of an eastie community group. But yeah i think its awesome too!

Definitely dramatic, but I think it's also a bit of a 'trick' of perspective and especially the way telephoto lenses mess with depth perception.

As far as I can tell:

- The foreground is near the end of sargeant st in Winthrop

- The background is Coleridge St in Eastie

- The distance between those two places is 1.25 miles

- The plane is actually over the Northern end of runway 22L

Its a hell of a photo though!
