Looks like it would be a cool place if you didn't have to drive everywhere. Although with the heat in the summer I do understand why people down there do drive everywhere.

Some of Tampa's neighborhoods, especially the Bayshore Blvd area pictured above (the balustrade railing along the waterfront) are really pretty nice. Ybor City is a historic Cuban district turned clubbing/nightlife area that recently has seen a lot of residential infill.

Downtown Tampa, though, is still strikingly desolate.
