I'm stumped as to why they went 9 storeys on this. Yes, supply & demand and tall floors but ...

Was there a regulatory reason? Written into zoning?
 
Not 100% sure but I believe it is zoned this way but it was also a part of the masterplan to step away from the water and up to the FAA limit.
 
Interesting...are they going CIP concrete on this one? Obviously standard for high-end residential all around the city, but seemingly rare for seaport where everything around here is steel frame.
 
The extension here of the harbor walk is shaping up nicely. Too bad the Whiskey Priest and ABG project is being held up by asshats.
