Temporary restrooms for the summer and fall season, are you kidding me?

I saw this posted on Boston.com about Massport providing live music near baggage claim. How about the closed restaurant area?

They need it rather that their typical "70's porn flic" music they have been playing for years.

Anyone have updates on passenger numbers? I’d imagine everything is going well. A friend of mine flew Avelo up from New Haven and said the flight was fully booked!
Flew out the other week to Nashville which was also a full flight from PWM.
The Jetport website hasn’t updated numbers in months… not the best look. Kinda too bad.

Had a Delta flight to DTW and returned via ATL last week and both flights were full. NR2Portland, on the PWM site, click the "Employees" feature at the very top of the page, then click "Partner Portal" to the bottom right, then click the "Monthly Passenger Statistics" of your choice. Paul showed me this inside trick a while back when I whined about the delay in passenger counts being updated under "Airport Statistics". It also allows you to see the enplanements and a bunch of other info from each individual airline which you may find interesting. (y)

My math shows that PWM had an increase of 36K enplanements for April and an increase of 41K for May compared to CY2024 and it appears that the jetport is on track for another record breaking year! February was the only month showing a decline over last year for a loss of 9K.

This is from the presentation Paul is giving to the S & T Committee.
Gates 11, 12, & 14 Terminal Improvements, Loading Bridges, and Fixed Bridge Extensions: This $21.6 million project provides: fixed walkways and three new passenger boarding bridges at the west end of the terminal building, new restrooms, an adult changing restroom, and a regulatory required service animal relief area. The project received a temporary certificate of occupancy in June to allow use of the new fixed walkways and passenger boarding bridges. These new bridges eliminated the need for at grade ramp boarding and provide ADA compliant fully enclosed and conditioned boarding bridge connections to aircraft at gates 11, 12, and 14. This is a significant improvement for travelers. The project will be completed later this month in advance of the Jetport’s busiest travel month of August. The Jetport expects to serve nearly 320,000 inbound and outbound travelers in just the month of August this year. This year, through May, the Jetport has served a record 792,000 travelers, which is up 13.6% over the same period in 2024.
