Mixed emotions here.

Seeing the beams approximating the slope of the seating, with some auditorium accents above, was very sad. But the whole building was in an unsavable state, wasn't it? So it goes.

The sight of the completely gutted auditorium above the banner reading "BOSTON'S THEATER SCENE" seemed pretty damn appropriate though. Not much to see here, kids. Move along.

But keeping the facade for the new building makes me feel quite hopeful, and if there's performance space going in there, so much the better.

A little off-topic, but the street-level of Felt really uglifies a nice building.

I agree. It had much more dignity when it was the Adams House restaurant.

You should go inside! Dirty! As to decor, the first two floors are ok, but the party room on the top floor is like the inside of an orange shag carpeted (and walled, and ceilinged) van, circa 1975.

Still the e-mail invites to the wet t-shirt contests, etc. are amusing.
