The Hub on Causeway (née TD Garden Towers) | 80 Causeway Street | West End

It looks like it does a little bit.

I think the residential is taller.

^^Resident tower is 496'.
Office tower is 509'.

*point of interest: the originally approved height of the resident tower was to have soared over the West End, reaching 659' to the top of the mechanical screen.

Garden Garage tower will go 485'.

I can't picture where the Urban Food Hall (floor plan on page 16 ) is going to tie in to Causeway. Will it be between the O'Neill building and the exsitng open covered gap?

Love the "old north station" brick detailng and Gustavino ceiling (did the B&M North Station use it? Or is it a nod to Grand Central and BOston Public Library)

The dark grey area to the left of the food hall along Causeway is the CitizenM entrance, so it will be between that and the new covered space

Did I miss salesforce signing a lease here??? The marketing brochure says “salesforce tower lobby”

Interesting. They were in talks about anchoring the South Station Tower. Maybe that fizzled and they went to the other commuter hub? Or perhaps completely separate from the SST deal?

^No prob

I wouldnt worry about it Salesforce has a few offices scattered around Boston, and their presence has been growing. On top of that Verizon is the anchor tenant here and leasing a ton of space. Salesforce wouldnt have the room they need and that would have been a huuuge announcement. So very unlikely. If Verizon werent taking up so much space Id give it more thought, but Salesforce needs a lot of room thats why theyre trying to anchor SST.

I think that's an example of the fancy "digital lobby" idea, they don't show up on the brochure's overview of leased space

Anyone can now go up into the CitizenM hotel lobby and the deck provides nice views. BeeLine - you'll dig it for pics!

I stayed there Friday evening, and it was in line with expectations...designed for the 'gram, and you could tell the construction was kind of shit in places. The room was comfy enough for just me, and had all the tech bells and whistles. The view... esp from 10th floor...

Anyway, it did not seem like there would be any issues to walk off street and go to the bar, which they'd probably welcome the business. So just go in from Causeway entrance and take the lift up to the 4th floor. The biggest annoyance was the bar closing at 10pm, given the usual weekend nighttime chaos below, but otherwise terrace and lounge area comfy and unhurried.

They've started installing glass on the lower portion of the office tower (Portal Park side). It looks pretty high quality to this layperson's eyes.
