True or false: residents of the higher floors of this building will have a view of all (or most) of the field at Fenway?
Why didn't the sox get upset when the Pru ended their distant view of the Custom House Tower from the top of the press box.
It would be shear novelty - unless you're talking about someone eccentric enough to try to watch through binoculars or a telescope.
We all know the 'view' is always better on TV - the point of the park is to *be there* with the crowd.
The 'free view of the game' issue is a total red herring.
^For anyone who even makes that argument here, I have to discount their opinion entirely because it's as stupid as can be. The earliest Fenway game occurs at 10am once per year, and even then, the sun is high as to cast no shadows on the park.
^ I could see 'glare' as a very legit issue. But shadows? nope.
Found the most HD render in history in the globe.
For the billionth time this is not about the view into the park but the view from the park.
Btw one thing I would be concerned about is sun glare on the tower blinding hitters.
Which is a very real concern that should be taken into account during design:
Hancock glare of death into 101 Huntington:
