Yes, I clicked on all the dots. It's a nice project, but the Connector is very underwhelming in my opinion. It's a nice lobby. Also, I was sad to see no water feature rendered in Winthrop Square Park. It looked like just a circular granite bench.Make sure to click the blue dots to actually see the whole place. There's a wine bar in there too, and it looks like you can climb up 2-3 floors.
Yeah! I thought there would be a water feature!Yes, I clicked on all the dots. It's a nice project, but the Connector is very underwhelming in my opinion. It's a nice lobby. Also, I was sad to see no water feature rendered in Winthrop Square Park. It looked like just a circular granite bench.
Same. It seems like virtually every project that promises a fountain, later “value engineers” it away. Mass Mutual was also supposed to have a fountain out front, which evaporated. Very disappointing. Boston could use some more good fountains.
With that reasoning…we should have none. Many New York buildings have them going year round. It is amazing the things that can be produced with effort.Kind of a waste of energy and space for more than half the year. When they aren’t in use, they have no utility at all.

Maybe it is just a pic of it without the water turned on. I hope so. It is very bland to begin with.Regardless of if it's a waste or not, Millennium Partners had planned to construct a fountain in the park. It would be a disappointment (although not surprising one) if it got VE'd out.

Why not instead create an active plaza that has space a small retail outlet — coffee, wine, beer garden — something of that nature.
