Fenway HoJo's Redevelopment | 1271 Boylston Street | Fenway

Boston's hottest club is Verb. Nightlife designer Tranny Griffith is back with an all-new club that answers the question Huh?!? Don’t look for a bouncer – there isn’t one. Instead the door’s guarded by ten jacked homeless guys in old-fashioned bathing suits. And inside it's just sick: ice sculptures, winos, Germufs – German smurfs – a Teddy Ruxpin wearing mascara, an old lady with Kid 'N Play hair, and none other than DJ Baby Bok Choy…He’s a giant 300-pound Chinese baby who wears tinted aviator glasses and he spins records with his little ravioli hands.

AmericanFolkLegend - that was huge.

I have lived outside America for the entire Bill Hader stint on SNL - which is really a shame from what I can tell. He seems to have been the best thing to happen to that show since Will Farrel.

Impression wise, Hader nailed it. When it came to breaking the fourth wall, and taking risks that would make the censors cringe, it was all about Norm MacDonald.

Just wanted to add my love for Bill Hader too.

Little bit of Palm Springs in grey Boston.
The parking lot is still unfortunate but they did a fine rehab. I trust the preservationists here are applauding?

I love Wildwood, NJ; the home of kitchey mid-century motels, so I can't say I don't like this. Some of the details jump the shark, but its cool overall. I always assumed this renovation was a placeholder, like Tasty Burger, but it looks like they are in it for at least the medium-haul.

It would be cool if they stocked the parking lot along Boylston with a few vintage cars, or held car shows on weekends. I'm sure he could valet guests cars at 1330 to make space.

Reminds me of the Harbor Hotel renovation in P-Town. They turned an old motor lodge into a really fun hip motel. Definitely feels a little like Miami Beach on the Cape.

Has viewing this thread skewed anyone else's targeted ads to show Verb everywhere? It's almost all I see lately (not that I mind seeing an ad I might actually care about, but yeah).

Case in point:

Edit: Embarrassing screenshots... I've got a Railroad Tycoon 3 quick launch and pirate Usher songs.
