I don't remember that little notch from the renderings, but anything to add a little visual interest is nice.

If you go back to Page 1, I think the reason you don't remember the notch is that it divides a front "panel" of sheet glass from a back section with metal louvers or some such thing. It looked like a grid before, but maybe the vertical pieces are going in later...

This is going to be a quality job. I am excited to see it progress.

for what has been generally put down as being a boring glass box, progress so far + looking at old renders in the PNF shows that this will have substantial changes in depth throughout the design. probably most boring from the back.

Unfortunately it looks like the vertical element has been removed.

I am assuming the second render is newer as it seems to match what we're seeing.
 
I was wondering if this is going to have a roof deck on the podium and found these renders at the Copley-Wolff web site. Anyone know if this will be open to the public? It would be a great vantage point for taking photos of the development across the street :)







 
Love the facade! So clean and elegant. No breaks, no custom size panels, all uniform panels with uniform mullions. This thing will glow like a Christmas tree, like a mini-Hancock.
 
This is going to be handsome relative to many of the other Seaport buildings. I am excited to see it finished. I still wouldn't want to actually work in the Seaport, I agree with Campbell's recent article that it's failing as a neighborhood.
