The work on the back side of the tunnel/SW Corridor right now could also be related to when a cement truck went through it a year or two ago. They never fixed that wall...

I thought it was crazy that they didn't fix that wall. When I had "outoftowners" in to visit, we would walk past it, and the story was a good one...."and there is where the cement mixer hit...". I have to say that it probably precipitated a redesign of the escalator area, because the impact must of shifted the building a little bit. The escalators in Copley Place are CONSTANTLY being fixed. If it's not one, it's another.

The base looks like a frog.

I know they've been eager to set up their fence on Dartmouth St to begin. It's a little tricky since they're dealing with the MBTA, MassDOT, and City of Boston in terms of jurisdiction.

It can join the club!

The "skyrisecities" type of website seems to be the not new thing - a database of properties w/ details, including developers and builders, etc. Here in Boston, bldup.com seems to be doing the same sort of thin. I think coUrbanize.com is doing something similar, although a bit different.

I don't understand how you monetize this, though. One way is to form partnerships and/or sell premium space, but it's an idea in its infancy.

Starting March 6th the underpass from the Mall to Back Bay will be closing thru December due to construction.

I'm thrilled the construction is beginning on the entrance. I'll miss the underpass. On a day like we had yesterday, it kept hundreds of people dry.

^....yes it does....and a MEAN frog!

I remember an old render that someone had photoshopped copley tower on to the official rendering of one dalton from near the BU bridge. I havent been able to find it and I really wanted to see what this would look like again so I edited both onto one of DZH22's photos to have them in it.

I found a different one I had made before showing the new skyline from a different angle.

Lol, this rendering was actually done by someone on archBoston. Maybe Downburst or kz? Sorry, I can't remember exactly who. I think it may have been in this very thread or possibly the One Dalton thread.
