Four Seasons Tower @ CSC | 1 Dalton Street | Back Bay

yesterday my friend who's working on this said they're about to move the crane and that after that "it'll be two floors a week -- at least"

Is the smaller blue crane already gone? (it seems like it from the recent photos, but I can't tell if it's just the angle). So, does your friend mean that the primary (red) crane is being moved?

BeeLine beat me to the punch, but here's some of my own photos from earlier this weekend:

The CIP angles are cool. Have we seen that on any of the recent projects of similar construction?

There were some very minor angled CIP columns on the Milenium tower on one of the lower floors.

If you like those angles, check out some of the recent photos of 53W53 in NYC.

I'm guessing the beautiful ornamental stone work in the foreground.

seems highly unlikely that this would reach 2 floor per week pace (or more) when the project developer was recently quoted in a article (a page or two back) saying this will not top out until "late summer/early fall 2018." At 2 floors per week, wouldn't this top out in 7 months around December/January?

I'm guessing a post-climax sigh after seeing something really tall being built?

Odurandina, did you hear that Denver has just proposed a new tallest, likely 800'+? Add another city to be jealous of.

Chrisbrat, any way you can ask your friend to confirm the height of this one? Are we talking ~756' or ~741'? I'm still crossing my fingers this will be our new 2nd tallest.

no clue, that's just what he said. he's an ironworker, and this is his first skyscraper, so maybe he's overenthusiastic/optimistic.

Uh-oh. Here we go.
