Walked by yesterday and on the lower dalton st side it looks like new windows have been installed.

I'm gonna wager the windows are custom jobs, defects were spotted, delays on custom orders ensued, and it's just a waiting game. That said, it has been a very long time.

Also, in case people missed it, the glass has a pretty crazy logistics chain..

“This grey glass, which is only produced in California, has to be shipped to Europe and combined with clear glass layers from Spain and Hungary before being shipped again to Toronto, Canada. There, the glass is installed into curtain wall frames, which act as the building’s non-structural covering. Then, the curtain walls are trucked to Boston for installation.”

The Pru looks so much taller from the south since it's unobstructed. Nice shots!

Thanks for the update, amazing sales numbers! That average will probably go over $3000/sf once they close the top 20 floors.

They closed a few more high floor units this week, including Herb Chambers’ penthouse, and I doubt we’ll see a $3000 average but it’ll be up there.

69 sales
$372.5m in volume
$2,471/sf average

Also, the hotel component has been sold for $268m to Premier Group WLL of Bahrain.

six remaining windows. my bad

There are actually 14 needed... 12 additional on the NE Side, first 20 floors - In any case, it's absolutely astonishing that this is a thing, and that someone could allow this to happen. I would imagine you order for an additional % in case of any possible malfunction in inventory, breakage, logistical failure, etc. I really have a hard time getting my head around this one.
