Does anyone know the percentage of Green Line cars that have been fitted with the GLTPS hardware?

As far as I know it's not tracked anywhere public, but anecdotally I see Type 7s with GLTPS hardware installed pretty frequently now. If I had to guess a percentage I would say around 40% of the Type 7s, but I could be wildly off.

They definitely seem to be focusing their installation efforts on the 7s — I've only seen a couple of Type 8s with the hardware and no Type 9s (though I primarily ride the E so I don't see the 9s much).

I finally caught one of the upgraded Type 8s. They set the electronics cabinet in place of one of the windowless seats next to the level boarding doors.

There have been delays on the Orange line multiple times in the last week due to signal issues. Didn't they just spend weeks fixing the signal system on the orange line? Why are there still so many issues? Genuine question.

They are not done yet with the signal upgrades. Shutdown in late August will complete most of the missing sections (I believe).

Anecdotally, most GL trains I have caught recently have had at least one car with the GLTPS upgrades.
