I have trouble believing rents are that cheap in Brookline and even Allston.

Skewed b/c it's "rent per bedroom" not "rent for a one bedroom" - that's why it seems low. A two bedroom will cost you less per bedroom than a one bedroom.

What's with the random red shaded areas by Roxbury, Franklin Field South and Upham's Corner? Did they mix this up with the homicide map?

We technically live in "Roxbury Crossing" (it's really just 50 steps off Huntington Ave even before it gets sketchy) and our rent for our 1BR is $1600.

Well folks, we have a storm of major apportion on our hands, as Mumbles has been known to say.

I'd love to see this post-GLX. You can see how Somerville is obviously seeing from Cambridge spillover, and Cambridge is obviously seeing great benefit from the Red Line/77/1 corridor. I'm amazed at the giant hole over by Tufts. I doubt that's going to last too long in a post-GLX world.
