I drive by / under this every day. The steel definitely looks like finished product (it's coated), but I don't remember ever seeing a rendering showing a "porch" extending out over Congress Street. So I'm just as confused as you are....

Not the best angle but shows it's a bit wide; from certain angles you really notice it. Also, I assumed all sides were equal for some reason and they are not

Question; will the top of the core stick up a little above the roof of the tower, or will it be flush with the roof? Just wanted to know.

External elevator is going up, coating is going on the lower floors and it’s slowly reaching the top. The arches give an incredible effect from the Congress St side.

Looks like they've already started the fire proofing for the steel framework!! Won't be long now before the Christmas tree goes on top, signifying that the steel frame is done!!!!

Hopefully now that this area has filled in the existing buildings on the left will renovate their ground floors to include retail. It made sense when they were built to have sparse ground floors but now they should go back and update the street level.
