These recent starts along Seaport Blvd and Pier 4 and the soon to be starts suggest that Boston / Cambridge in general and the Seaport / Innovation District in particular is likely to be busy with construction for the next few years

This is likely even with a potentially slowing global economy in the next 12 months [suggested by the plummeting prices for industrial raw materials] and In 3 years with a new administration focused on improving the economy things might begin to pick-up steam again

Any idea why this whole site is a complete wet muddy mess?

Other sites in the area don't seem to be going in this direction. Every day, all, day they have trucks coming and going with grey-ish mud being tracked everywhere and street sweepers doing laps all day.

Trying to understand their process...

This project is slow. Like really slow. Judging from Beeline's photos, it looks like they have hardly built the foundation after 4 months. This can't be normal. How fast did they build the little parcel that they capped next to Goodwin/ICA? The only reason I can think of is that they need to reinforce the Silver Line tunnel. Does anyone know more?

^^ They have been working on the slurry walls along the perimeter of the site and also along the silver line tunnel, which disects the NE corner of the site. The slurry wall operation is causing all the muck on site.

BeeLine, in that third to last photo with the concrete floor just poured, is that bump next to it the Silver Line Tunnel?
