It's amazing how much more connected the Bullfinch Triangle and the North End look. With all of the projects happening in that area it will be really amazing to see the transformation in the next couple of years.
 
It rather looks like Chicago: level terrain, uniform street grid, towers massed on the distant flatlands....

Looking at it again, it appears the original photo is from around 2002/2003. You can see 33 Arch is still under construction, 1 Lincoln doesn't have its sign yet, and 225 Franklin still has the State Street sign instead. The rest of it is absolutely bizarre. Thanks for getting the pic out of that link, Justin.
 
Cool shot. That development in Eastie massively expands the skyline every time your driving in just draws your eye to that angle. That area gets built up at all any more and it would be an impressive show
