On a recent flight down to Washinton D.C., I had a nice view out of the window. This was taken Monday, April 22nd. The first photo really highlights the build-up around Kendall Square in Cambridge and Union Square in Somerville.

As I recall at the time, they used to call this type of architecture "heroic", like it's some bold, sweeping futuristic leviathan.
I thought somebody had already posted this here but I guess not. Found on flickr.

Heyyyyy I also flew in Wednesday but the flight path and side of the plane I was sitting on didn't quite allow for closeups
