Atlantic Wharf (née Russia Wharf) | Atlantic Ave | Waterfront

Re: Atlantic Wharf (formerly Russia Wharf)

I'll send you my address if u want to put one under my tree :) You are right though! A I did drop it in water

b I never read the directions,so I'm sure the settings are all wrong! and c most of my pixs are takeing while driving and thru office windows,I don't really try to get the best shot just a shot! thanks though!

Someone in another thread was complaining about MY camera too.

I'd love to buy a new camera. Until I can afford that, I think those who aren't happy with our picture quality should get their own cameras, go around the city taking pictures, and then take the time to upload and post them.

^ right on! Some folks don't realize how much work and time go's into posting these pixs! so thanks!

Re: Atlantic Wharf (formerly Russia Wharf)

Look at those shadows!! Even at night they just ruin the parks!

First of all, I actually liked your last two pictures, but they could have been better if you had a decent camera. Also, I'm not a Christian so I will not support your retarded holiday.

I propose we set up a PayPal account. Start up the "Get Boston02124 a brand new D-SLR and Photography Lessons for Christmas so we can have Prettier Pictures." Just my two cents, and perhaps I'll even put in $0.02 (I'm sorry, that was a terrible joke, but I had to try something).

Wow Kennedy, you really know how to make us laugh...

Way ahead of you bucko; it's a few months older but who cares.

Christian? What's that? I always though Christmas was a Capitalist holiday.

Re: Atlantic Wharf (formerly Russia Wharf)

I sure do, it's just that you purposely removed "us" from my sentence. Take a look at the quote again buddy and you'll see that I never edited it.

Don't know how you did that, but you for sure did not have "us" there before. Whatever, if you're going to whine about it, it's fine. Glad to see we're all able to be mature here. Stay classy, archBoston.

Re: Atlantic Wharf (formerly Russia Wharf)

The only nice thing I can say about this building is that it indeed does step up the skyline nicely.

Re: Atlantic Wharf (formerly Russia Wharf)

I like the contrast in glass...the different shades play off one another well.

Re: Atlantic Wharf (formerly Russia Wharf)

I hate the base. I hate it when other buildings do this too.

Re: Atlantic Wharf (formerly Russia Wharf)

Not demolish historic buildings, you mean?

Ruining the building to keep the facade is an empty gesture and not historic preservation. If you want to build a tower that compliments the base then go ahead but this feels more like the architect got pissed off they had to accommodate history.

What do you think of Exchange Place?
