yep,sometimes they close the road to it also,but you can still hike in 2ft of snow to get to the base,the cemetary stays open year around

Last one is from Blue Hills. Also there are shots from Horn Pond, Mount Auburn, and The Fells. (and the driving ones you know all too well) After seeing you post pics from there over and over, I finally made it to Mount Auburn, and have been 3 times now in the past 3 weeks! I think it might be my favorite view of Boston due to the proximity and visibility from the tower.

Love it, this angle really makes Boston look very well filled out. In the 2nd pic, once all the buildings at North Point are built out, it will really pull some more weight down that end, making the skyline look even wider.

Is this Arlington we're looking at in the foreground?
 
Looking from Prospect Hill Park in Waltham towards Boston, you would not see Arlington. More likely Watertown.
 
Woops, didn't even notice he mentioned the location where he shot from.

I figured from the angle that it was a little more east than Watertown, but I guess I was wrong. :)
