Hopefully in a few years we will see a few new towers in this shot. One can hope.

well,7 have been added since 1985 (the year I moved here)but nothing over 36 stories

Well Liberty Mutual, Neiman Marcus/Copley Place Condos, the Exeter Street apartments, and the Berklee residence hall will definitely be visible from that vantage point in a few years time (like by 2015).

the T ride home, like it when it stops in the middle of the bridge

From yesterday (unfortunately, it looks like Liberty Mutual may be encroaching on one of my favorite views)

Great pic! For more than a few moments I couldn't imagine what building that dark midrise behind the crane was! Duh! I need my second cup of coffee!!

WOW! Awesome DZH! GREAT view!

I think this project will make it even better depending on the height. :)

That's from the Radisson garage, right? Probably the best spot to view the high spine from.

Actually it's slightly further, from the top of the garage next to the Wang theater. The Radisson garage really doesn't have as good a view as you'd think it would. I think Liberty Mutual is going to remove some of the Hancock's vertical impact from this view though. I just hope to God we don't end up like Philadelphia, where my personal favorites (Liberty Place 1 and 2) appear squat because there is no good place to view them from. Keep the viewing corridors of the Hancock alive!!!

Oh that's right, the NEMC garage has way better views. Forgot about that one.

As long as we have the trully World-Class View looking directly accross the Charles from in front of MIT at the Pru and Hancock and even 111 Huntngton (and all the rest of the little guys) -- citizens of other cities can just sit in awe

Although one February morning about 6 or so years ago -- I got the rare privalege of waking up to an absolutely crystalic dry winter morning -- and with a view from an upper story room in the Airport Hyatt -- looking direcly across the harbor with the brilliant rising sun reflecting off the water and glinting back at me from some buildings -- even at 2 Mpix -- that was my screen saver for severl years
