The little tour boat on the Charles, shown in DZ's pic (nice pic, btw), where would you go to board? We've done the Duck Tour but this one looks very interesting if it is, indeed, a tourist type scenic boat ride.

I'm pretty sure its a Charles River cruise that makes a circuit departing from WBZ/Soldiers Field to the Science Museum and back.

Not that I am nearly as good a photographer as many others here, but I figured I throw a couple photos I snapped with my phone into the mix (forgive the varying quality). All taken from the water:

started to rain when I got to Deer island The Fast Ferry Storrow Dr

^ Those shots looking back at downtown with the wake of your boat are hot. Thanks for sharing!

Anyway I made a little trip to Savin Hill yesterday, on Grampian Way to be exact:

That's a sick view KZ. Is the area safe? Is there any place to park my car for a few minutes? I'm a North Shore guy and have always been pretty leery of the areas south of downtown. (particularly Roxbury, Mattapan, Dorchester)

You should totally post larger versions of the first and third pic in this thread: http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=197670&page=207

Totally safe, and plenty of space for parking. The area is mostly single family homes or duplexes and lots of minivans... not for a single second did I feel unsafe. Savin Hill has come a long way from the "Stab n' Kill" days.

As for the second point... done!

I just moved away from Cambridge to Chicago. Here are some pictures I took from the top of my old building (60 Wadsworth St) before I left last week.

I like how the seaport sort of extends the skyline south now.
