Will they be using two cores for this project? Otherwise that seems like a strange location for it.

Most likely because they will have an office tower and a residential tower with a gap in the middle.

I think I have said it before about this project, but they are really not messing around here. The site looks completely different as compared to the picture from 8/10 on the top of the page.

I'm sure they're racing to have the project at/above ground before winter and the first snowfall in a few months because that can not only severely drive up the costs of construction, but also delay the completion date. They look to be in great shape so far.

It'll be interesting to watch the pace of construction on this vs. 1282 Boylston diagonally across the street, which is beginning excavation imminently.

Were any of you guys out taking pix of this project/crane at 11:40 today wearing a plaid woven and a baseball cap? I saw a guy snapping pix with a sweet DSLR when I was dropping someone off in the BK parking lot.

First, nice typing. Had to have been done from a cell phone ;)

And secondly, I wish you would've posted this an hour earlier! I was JUST over there taking pictures of the pit but had no idea to go snooping around Landmark Center. Oh well...next week.
