Boylston West @ Fenway Triangle (Van Ness) | 1325 Boylston Street | Fenway

Re: 1325-1341 Boylston St (Fenway Triangle/Former Goodyear Tire)

Not sure why that hasn't occurred in the Seaport.

Because Fenway is lucky to have a developer who knows what he's doing, whereas the Seaport is evidence that relying on developers in general to be this way is a fallacy, and better planning is needed to ensure similar outcomes from less enlightened landowners.

^^ So that loading dock area is in the middle of the property. Is that building open in the middle, or is that area covered up?

It's definitely covered. Target is above it.

Demolition completed. Pile driver on site. Retaining walls going in. Viewed from SW corner.

^^ It's one thing to think it's a big site when looking at it from the street, but that site really is massive!

Now I'm just reminiscing about my tonka trucks in the sandbox...

Re: 1325-1341 Boylston St (Fenway Triangle/Former Goodyear Tire)

Is the residential building on Brookline Ave moving forward as well or is it just the Boylston portion?

Re: 1325-1341 Boylston St (Fenway Triangle/Former Goodyear Tire)

Good ground floor urbanity but typical Elkus/Manfredi meh, the red part anyway. Glass mid-rise is ok.

The red part if done correctly could really be beautifully contextual to the area. There's a lot of potential with this development. Execution/spec'ing will be key. The success of this building relies upon how the 3 facades interface with each other.

Just the Boylston portion. The Brookline Ave tower is a later phase.

Does anyone have a copy of the PNF or PIR from the Redevelopment Authority for this?

I noticed that as I was walking by Fenway Park today! I thought it was just sewer. How vile.
