I agree. Cambridge doesn't like groundbreaking, and that's okay.

This is another phoned-in, boiler plate historicist template, done to death.
The same scale and street level amenities could have been enveloped in an elegant glass/masonry style that has something intelligent to say about today instead of just this knee-kerk quoting of yesterday.

I am a resident of this neighborhood and I have to say I am going to agree with Brad. This building is so safe that its falling over itself to "blend in". I would want a building that addresses the contemporary urban context of today, not 100 years ago. This is disneyland of what Harvard Square used to be.

Want an example of what I would like to see more of. How about this:
