The Telford St extension was open for business today:
I wonder if this sidewalk is so large for future outdoor seating, that would be really nice, especially since shaws has a decent selection of pre-made meals that a lot of people buy, as well as Brueggers:
They started putting up bricks on the wood framed crapbox:
The Petco side:
I'm trying to figure out what these footings are for. There are a few more out of frame to the right.
Someone made a comment about the signs, i guess this is better?
I have to look over the plans because I cant figure out whats going on here. The shaws is out of frame to my right. You have this short street with drains and a fire hydrant, then two seemingly random and unaligned concrete patches, and then in the back stone for what looks like a foundation for another street.
This is from Litchfield, through a small hole in the fence. You can hear running water quite easily, that pump in the background must be working overtime. I live about five blocks away from here and it shook my house a lot when they drove the metal into the ground.
Towards Western Ave from the same hole:
They finished up this little park across from the Telford Street extension about a month ago. It looks a lot better then the weeds that were there before. Dog walkers love it and kids are playing occasionally when I walk by as well (a family had actually just left which is why I'm standing so close to the entrance, they would have been in frame if I was any further back and I didn't want to be a creeper.) The path goes up over that hill, hits a locked fence, goes about 20 feet further and ends at yet another fence.
The corner where these trees are is the second fence mentioned above. I assume when they finish using this parking lot as a staging area the path will continue in some fashion through here.
The pile of dirt on the right is the same one in the corner of the frame in the picture above. I believe its from charlesview.
