Crane Pix Past and Present

Wait- they already started on One WTC? I thought they didn't even know what design to go with?

Then again, I remember them placing a cornerstone a while back but other than that I thought it was still up in the air?

Am I the only one who had no idea? :confused:
 
If it isn't on your radar then why would you know? The only reason I know that One WTC and Four WTC are actually reaching to the sky is because I work a block away. If I didn't I think I'd be just as shocked as you.

You should pull over on Rt 1 northbound right under the Tobin Toll Plaza! They have little protected sidings (where I think the toll workers park?).

Whoever takes pics of the Spaulding Rehab project from there will get an e-high five.
 
I've always wanted too for years^ but was always afraid of being arrested for tresspassing lol!

I've seen people pulled over in that area under the tooth booths taking pictures before and also just after the toll booth heading south bound. I don't know what happens to you if the po-po comes along.
 
I think u can get arrested for trespassing,I think u can only pull over for a real emergency

Yes, just as I was finishing up 2 security guards came to make sure I got down safely, or something like that. They were very polite about it though. I just pointed towards the Back Bay skyline and said "you can't get this kind of view from the ground".

Haha, I've trespassed on the majority of garages in downtown Boston. They offer stunning views. My favorite is 33 Arch St (ex-Woolworths). Great views of the Filene's section cut and DTX.
