Not a shock. Just look at how quickly they are to grant developers rights to build right next our highways - 93 in particular. Until they make a massive investment in expanded highways and other road infrastructure, plus mass transit, traffic will only continue to get worse and worse in the city of Boston and surrounding towns.
And it's worth way more now than what he paid for it. A good investment, and funny!2) Steve Wynn has a sense of humor. And is willing to spend money on that sense of humor. I know I laugh every time I see it in the renders, so thank you.
I agree with this; over-the-top opulence is fun for an occasional night out. Would I ever want to live or work in a place that looks like that? Hell no. But if I'm out with a couple friends to go gambling it helps get into the fun and spirit of the whole thing.
You gets the cheezy 80s/90s opulence becuz they haves the monies!! All the monies!!!
Huge fail that there is no event space being built here.
Do we know for sure this is true? I know we aren't getting a 10,000 seat Mohegan Sun Arena at the Wynn but not even a venue in the 1,000 capacity range for shows/concerts? If so, that is a HUGE fail. Much better off having a venue for shows than tons of luxury retail that most will never set foot in. Come for dinner/show drop a few hundred at the tables in between. Casinos like this need that draw once the novelty wears off, no?

No event space and not turning the building to face the skyline is two huge mistakes. What was the thinking here?
