I like this building because it blends in so well. I pointed the hotel out last weekend to a native Bostonian and he said 'That's new?'

The trellis adds a lot of character.

I had a relative stay there for some time while undergoing treatment at Dana Farber. It's certainly not the most luxe hotel, but the rooms are spacious and work surprisingly well for people undergoing longer term hospital treatment. It's shocking how few hotels there are with any walking proximity to Longwood.

I was looking at hotels in the area for a 1-night stay to see a specialist at Beth Israel, and this one came in at the bargain basement price of $382/night. There were cheaper rooms available at the Taj! I guess the walk-to-Longwood crowd is a pretty captive market to command these rates.
