Come-on folks --you know there are lots of cables in the T system that are 50-60 years old. That is practically new by MBTA standards.

They were in the tunnel several times doing track work!!
How in the world did this 60-y-o problem slip pass them & remain hidden without showing its face for all these years?!!!!
