DSH -- apparently it was an accident with the crane operator unharmed and no-one on the ground in the immediate vicinity -- so it turned out to be fairly minor

oops... lets hope they double check their calculations before steel starts rising.

I'm sure someone got chewed out pretty good for that one

Foundations and braces in place. Could not figure out where the crane base will be. As you can see there is still a lot of earth on the north side of the site.

Looks like the crane went up over the weekend.

Unlike some of out more intrepid motorist-photographers, I didn't have a chance to capture it this morning...

Might I suggest consolidating this thread with the existing Longwood Center thread? We should be referring to this project as Longwood Center, as Joslin sold their rights several years ago. I do believe they will be taking significant space in this building.

Is the ever rhyme or reason to how the utilities are laid underground? Looks like pipes going in every direction.

The pipes are bracing, not actual utilities.

Also, this project is now officially called Longwood Center.
