NYC Architecture and Development

Yea I said that in the SST thread that I based it off that. I think its a cool take on the Boston Slanted roof trend.

Unfortunately, 45 East 22nd suffers from the same problem as Millennium Tower in that it had its roof covered in the renderings, only to be left wide open in the end. And as you can see, this one's top ended up even worse than MT.

^^ Thanks for sharing. Very interesting and it sure wets the appetite for something new and creative to be added to the Boston skyline.

Streetscapeer on SSC posted this. This cladding looks great, we need one of these.

cladding looks like stone, rather than precast panels (or it's really high quality precast?)

^^Sigh. Stick, Thanks for posting that. I'll have what NYC is having (on this parcel) for any of the mindnumbing horrors that continue to spoil Downtown Boston. Even if they tore off 1/3 of Center Plaza, we wouldn't get cladding that would fit so well with the Adam's courthouse even if hell froze over.

I'll bet when that is finished no one will be able tell when it was built. We need one or two of those in downtown Boston.

Wow. How tall is that going to be? And, more importantly, how is anyone going to get around the top?

So the top is just ornamental?

The entire project is conceptual and from what I've read, it's a jab at the new ultra-thin, ultra tall condo towers for the ultra-rich going up.

It's been a while, why not be a friend and share a shot :D

Hudson Yards yesterday:

Feels very much (disjointed) like the Seaport, just taller.
