i'll drink to this, very soon it seems

I just found out that it is right across the street from where my sister works!

Guess the location!

Hint: it's a Kallman McKinnell building.

What's to become of that triangular parcel to the right of the Blackstone block?

^ They should build a proper glass-roofed market building for Haymarket and other weekly markets: flea market and antiques, local farm produce, flowers, stamps, coins, books, prints...

^Yes, yes, a thousand times yes! Not to diminish your suggestion, Ablarc, but that idea seems so obvious I'm gobsmacked that it wasn't the first thing completed on the Greenway.

There use to be a drawing on the Big Dig web site showing a red brick building at this site with retail on th first floor. This link has a picture on the bottom of the page, but it's not as detailed as the old one.

About 35 people attended the 1 ?-hour meeting of the North End Central Artery Advisory Committee, run of course by community maven Nancy Caruso, at Mariner's House on North Square. Not a bad turnout for a lovely summer evening in mid-August. The agenda was "Rose Kennedy Greenway Parcel 9: Introduction to Use & Design Guidelines Discussion". The next meeting is Sept. 9, when use and design issues again will be taken up. Later meetings are scheduled for October and November.

I like the product mix. Fruit and veg only goes so far. I'm not saying make it a permanent Brimfield, but something like this would attract more residents, as opposed to just tourists or produce shoppers. Love it!
