Nice! never knew you could see the skyline from there I'll have to take a look!

To see the skyline from the Arboretum you need to go to the back part (Peters Hill, which is treeless) rather than the front (Bussey Hill).

You can see the skyline from Bussey Hill too. Never viewed the skyline from Peters Hill and it may be a better / higher vantage but the view is nice from Bussey Hill.

Fall colors: how were they in Boston this year?

(Drab down South in recent years.)

Read an article that said ultra-bright Fall colors have fallen casualty to global warming.

What I saw in New England was pretty impressive this year. Not standout from prior years, also not exceptionally worse.

Actually I think this is one of the best years for New England foliage that I can remember...I think an early cold snap may have had something to do with it.

The photos don't really do it justice because we're past peak at this point.
