Autumn in Dorchester's Bayside/Savin Hill area:

Just some random iPhone pics while walking the dog... This is the report my real estate agent sends me every quarter, the photo is Savin Hill Avenue - looks haunted!

Those houses are on Sawyer Avenue - about a 3-5 minute walk from here on Jones Hill - also in the Bayside/Savin Hill area. I love this neighborhood, but was extremely hesitant to move here back in the day... now I'm a big cheer-leader/nerd for it!

The Zakim was a bit of a dud, no? I went down to take pics too, expecting the bridge to be red as it said on Boston.com, and it was the Garden that was red. I think there was a tinge of red on the Zakim, but the lighting on it is pretty bad and it didn't look much different.

I missed the purple and blue Monday, but here's some blue and green from Tuesday night:

you know, i usualy consider the Pru the second ugliest building in Boston (behind Mass Eye and Ear), but damn can that lighting make it look good at night.

Its ugly but in an old and been around for a while type of way, what I hate is new ugly buildings that are ugly cuz of a huge black wall (45 province) or just bad design. The pru is fine and it is boston.
