I feel like it's lipstick on a pig, but i'm enjoying the change nonetheless.

^ I used to lead walking tours of Boston. Few thought this building beautiful, but all agreed it was impressive.

Everybody is getting into the colored lights game

Really enjoy the colors, especially the red and green holiday colors...very festive! I wish, however, that the Old Hancock was bathed in floodlights a while back. When did they stop that?

Truly goregous photos of a very beautiful city.

Does anyone have a photo of the "pregnant building" at 100 Federal Street? I was speaking to my cousin, who is an architect and lives in Italy, about that building, and I am sure he would appreciate seeing it, and any others. Thanks!

^^ Look just a few posts above your first post. :)

And welcome!

Thanks for the warm welcome!

Yes, but I'm looking for the "pregnant" part of the building ... which is what makes it unique :-D

Weird transition from buildings along the water's edge to a slope of grass and rocks a la Maine.

The water is usually not this high and there is a distinctive "Seawall" on either side of the Channel.

And yeah it looks really weird on high tide looks like a beach here but no sand : )

Usually seawalls aren't only built for low tide conditions?

How about they build right up to the seawall a la Venice?
