^ Why are there places in Boston where there's no one on foot?

Besides, there are plenty of places in Boston that contain only offices and stores, and times of the day or week when these are not open.

I'm mixed.

As someone who loves old, ornate architecture, that photo makes me sick.

As someone who appreciates urbanism, grit and that 'many layered onion' look often found in cities, I love it.

Van, I took a nearly identical photo on Sat!

I've been meaning to post about this building for a while now. It's pretty disgusting to see a property owner consciously let a Back Bay building like this just slowly disintegrate. It's pretty clear they're just sitting on this waiting to cash in down the line. If this building was just across the street the BBAC would have the owner's ass in a sling.

A slumlord:

Not a slumlord:

These buildings are one building away from one another.

Aren't these all slated to be swept away by the Druker Shreve replacement?

czsz, I don't believe so; these are further up the block.

briv, doesn't the owner of the uggs building also own the new uggs building at the corners of Exeter and Boylston streets?
