So I visited a friend's office on the 15th floor of 101 Main yesterday and got near-360 views. He has a little startup company and all of the 14th and 15th floors here are basically open plan offices that startups can use at their discretion.

For instance, if you wanted to break out into a conference room you can just grab whichever one happens to be open, or you could hop on any of the computer terminals scattered throughout. There's also a big kitchen area with free food and a dedicated ping pong room with two tables. Oh and the views weren't too bad either.

And as we all know, you can't have a startup office without some Star Wars Legos, amirite?

Today at work, I'm going to stare out the window for 5 hours and spend the rest of the time building a Lego Star Destroyer. Yay!!!

Today at work, I'm going to stare out the window for 5 hours and spend the rest of the time building a Lego Star Destroyer. Yay!!!

Do you think the Death Star and giant fleet of Star Destroyers sprang up overnight? Not quite... Palpatine probably sat in an office similar to this one overlooking some futuristic city from the prequels, planning and plotting his evil startup. Surely he had some models built for inspiration. Previsualization is essential for something as grande as dominance over the galaxy. This would be a great room for the next Zuckerberg to come up with something even more invasive and dystopian than facebook.

You gotta love the guys and gals over at MIT! I have never seen Building 54 lit up like that, but then, I googled the Green Building/Building 54 and saw it's done all the time! The American Flag display done after the Marathon Bombing and the tribute to MIT's fallen officer was especially impressive. Thanks for posting!!

In general, what an absolutely phenomenal set of pix DB. You have an incredible eye for framing views.
