Photo of the Day, Boston Style: Part VII (2014)

In a weird way I am kind of grateful for the central artery, yes it bulldozed historic neighborhoods, but look at what came of it. If the west end hadn't been bulldozed we would have plenty of historic neighborhoods along with this gem of a green space in downtown. Old neighborhoods are a dime a dozen, yes, but public spaces like this are even more. You cant change the past but wow look what we did with our future.

Totally agree. Fattony and I were there yacking it up and I had to ever so rudely keep turning away to take pics because the lighting was so damn cool. It was moving/rotating too, so it was a constantly changing kaleidoscope.
