Same here, I did a semester abroad in London and we lived in an area with housing like this.
 
That is in the Back Bay looking towards Kenmore Square the building in the upper right part of the frame is on Comm Ave next to the Bowker Overpass.

That's not correct (if you're talking about post #295). That's actually Beaver Place, where the flat of beacon hill kisses the edge of back bay, in the shadow of the Fiedler footbridge.
 
Thanks for the correction the building in the background and another building that I mentioned in the post have a very similar roof. I got confused because of that.
