Glass has started to be installed on the corner facing 100 Pier 4 and Northern Avenue

Saw it today. Looks like spandrel glass- either way, very, very reflective.

It may just feel this way to me and not be true, but this seems like the speediest construction I can remember in a long time.

Given that it was still excavating 8 months ago (see below photos), I agree it's definitely been one of the faster projects in the area.

Keep an eye on the residence halls at Emanuel College, Northeastern University, and UMass Boston... I have a feeling those are moving along quickly, too.

What in the hell qualifies a stubby little dead-end jut-out of a street to be a freaking Boulevard?

Though to be honest I'm a bit shocked we didn't get Pier 4 Drive

I defend Seaport on a number of things.. their street names are not one of them. I fully agree that the names are pretty silly. Bond "Drive" for example, just ridiculous. :rolleyes:

This glass has a silver tint to it in the renders and very reflective. In person its a very deep blue and looks to be that glass that becomes reflective under certain lighting conditions. Almost looks like the Goodwin Proctor glass. Looks great.
