This is pretty good stuff. I dont know how I missed this one in design.

It's being built by the city so that means no review by other city agencies, which in turn takes out some of the public process/publicity. I think there were some public meetings but a lot of focus was taken up by the demolition issue rather than the new building.

For new schools they really are a fantastic firm. It's nice to see another really good city building in Roxbury (the first being Bolling).

Correct it is a temporary fire escape. Phase II is being built where the wooden porches/fire escape is.
