Great list, John! Thanks for sharing it! No corrections yet, but will keep you posted (*I've kept a list of my own--haven't updated for a while, though). You've always been pretty proactive about staying informed on new development announcements throughout the city.

"Pembroke Real Estate is in the early stages of studying a redevelopment of the Seaport World Trade Center, a 715,000-square-foot office and meeting complex located on the South Boston waterfront. Pembroke is also considering expansion of the adjacent 428-room Seaport Hotel....

Aalto had no immediate timeframe of when a study would be kicked off or completed, nor an estimate of how much a study or a redevelopment would cost.

“It’s really early stages,” Aalto said. “It just seems like it’s a great opportunity to think about this now.”...

....The Seaport World Trade Center includes about 565,000 square feet of office space and 150,000 square feet of meeting space, with several ground-floor retail locations, including Dunkin’ Donuts, 7-Eleven, Stapleton Floral, Santander Bank and fashion accessory store Tango.

Seaport Place includes two office buildings — the 17-story Seaport West and 16-story Seaport East — that flank either side of Seaport Hotel. The development also features two parks — Eastport Park and Westport Park — while the MBTA Silver Line World Trade Center stop is located across Congress Street from the offices and hotel.

The Seaport West and Seaport East offices would not be included in the redevelopment study, Aalto said."....

Glad to see that this is on the radar. Commonwealth Pier has a ton of potential that is not being realized right now.

Great news. Perhaps they could add events during the summer months. It's a unique space.

Wow what was the occasion for the photo?

Curious because - although I know its an active part of the working waterfront - i'v always thought that the layout and architecture of fish pier also give it great potential as an active retail marketplace type environment. (As in the photo)

Park time on the harbor: Boston Globe article.

The five sites under consideration are: Dry Dock 4, the Northern Avenue Bridge, somewhere on the Fort Point Channel, and two parcels in east Boston. It is the Trustees of the Reservation looking to build, and the Barr Foundation providing some supplementary funding.

Great pic, this really shows the plan for seaport blvd very well, hides the construction, and gives a good general idea of what this will look like as the end game....which looks good.
