It is classified as a cult in many countries around the world especially in europe. It has a pay to move up the ranks policy, they do not tell you the tenants unless you pay, work to prevent exmembers from speaking out by both legal and illegal means, has no real morality element, and is based on the writings of a science fiction writer. All religions have some stupid aspects but scientology has many more than most. even L. Ron Hubbard's own grandson said it is a dangerous cult.
 
Its a good idea to keep politics and religion off these kinds of boards. It distracts from the actual topic.

I have to admit, until last week I had no idea this house existed.

Worcester Street, South End.

 
Garage doors like that usually indicate new construction. Looks like it might have been retrofitted though, along with that staircase, and the window turned into a door. Wild.
 
Yeah, it has the look of an old carriage house. I used to walk by this all the time when we lived in the South End. Definitely a hidden gem.
 
Why the fire escape from the second floor in the front of the building? Is the front door blocked? I don't think building code allows a front door to be blocked that way, so the garage door is really the front door?
 
^^ I'm pretty sure that window on the second floor is the front door.
 
Look closer. That front door (the actual door on the left) has a couple steps leading up to it. I don't think the stairs going up to the 2nd floor are flush with the facade.
 
The front door of the carriage house is operable and gets used. Although usually I see the owner going through the garage door. Whoever lives there is in the plumbing or H/AC business, because the garage is full of junk along those lines.

I used to walk by this building every day when I lived one block away from it. I always thought it be great to renovate it and make the garage into living space.

Yar, and residential doors open in. So even though its blocked a bit the worst case scenario is a bumped noggin.

Cute house though.
